I'm planning to do a series of artworks based on an old, 10th century, Japanese folklore tale called The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.

Recently, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been asked to make a personalized collage portrait of an old friend from high school.

This piece is from a hike we did at the end of autumn 2020, along the southern edge of Lake Chuzenji in Nikko, Japan.

The next two pieces are both from Okutama, on a trail called Mukashi Michi. They're both from the same mountain range.

I focused on the reflections of the mountains on the surface of the lake. Which was challenging, but rewarding.
